I was tasked by Guinness to design potential can label and apparel for the Open Gate Brewery. My concept drew upon the Guinness zoo animals and zookeeper illustrated by John Gilroy and utilized in Guinness promotion since there first appearance in 1925 till the present day.
The concept for my project played on the zoo animals had all broken out of the zoo and had run off to the OGB. So that the zookeeper had to track them down.
Working off that the zookeeper originally illustrated by Gilroy was a caricature of himself. That the zookeeper this time was represented by the Guinness customers. From that scenario, the customer would follow the animal tracks that would lead them to The Open Gate Brewery. This concept is played upon throughout my two outcomes.

The Rub on tattoo's where a fun piece of apparel. A  nostalgic throwback for the more adventurous drinker and a tremendous way to advertise the Brewery, as a very effected conversation starter.
